    The Opportunity Awaits

In this series, we have been unpacking the lies we have settled for around what is ‘normal’. We’ve seen how our definition of ‘normal’ has actually deteriorated over time…

So what would we do if we saw a person or people living full, vital, sparked-up and alive, when we knew we were not? Would we embrace them and be inspired by them – wanting to know how they do it?

How are they so consistent, so radiant and glowing, so amazing and joyful, all the time? Would we want to study them and ask them questions and find out how, so we could be inspired and perhaps have that ourselves?

Or would we read, at a deeper level, that that vitality and consistency has come as a result of a commitment – a commitment to not compromising to things we know are not true, and not overriding the body, and actually living in a way that is responsible for our vehicle – i.e. our body. Yes, our body is our vehicle, that we drive round all day.

If we met someone who had taken a great deal of responsibility for their vehicle, and hence their vehicle was looking damn fantastic – would we love it and want to know their secret?

Or in reading the level of responsibility they have taken, and by necessity, what we have not ourselves chosen, would we reel back and not want to see it? Sometimes it can be confronting to see someone who has left all the binds behind and stands in front of you glorious and full of spark and joy.

The unfortunate thing is that we often write off people like that. We find fault in them – pick at them until we find something we can fault or criticise. Ultimately, we often like to tear them down…

    But what does this do?

The fact is, it lessens us, as well as lessening them.

If someone is inspiring and we allow ourselves to be inspired by them, then we are given space to grow. This can then feed onto others and so on and so on.

We all have an opportunity to see life on earth as something far grander and far more magical than the everyday functional human existence we fall for. In-truth, there is so much more on offer – which we can get a glimpse of when we feel the incredibly healing warmth of the sun on our body, or watch the gorgeousness of the sunset, or the expanse of the sunrise – as a new horizon being born, across the eastern sky.

If we are willing to be inspired by those who have decided to take more responsibility than we have – then we set them free to grow more and more, and bring others up behind them, through inspiration in their wake. Ultimately we all grow, magnanimously from that, for the bottom line of it all is simple – and two fold:

    • Life is about connecting to that grandness inside – and letting it out; and
    • We are all in this together.

At Evolve, we’re all about that – and we offer each and every one of our students the support to go as far as they want to go in their study and development.

We deeply appreciate the opportunity to work with people – and people are what makes our entire business tick.
