HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy

However you choose to apply your massage training, our approach supports learning which is relevant, cutting edge and enjoyable

Evolve College has created a flexible timetable arrangement that allows you to study whilst maintaining other life commitments. Many of our students study while working full time, have kids and/or run busy and active lives. We believe study should be something that helps you grow but does not require you to give up all other commitments to do so.

Course Delivery

Classes occur in 2 day blocks on average every 3-4 weeks, There is 7 classes in total including the supervised practice clinics. Classes can be attended at your chosen campus, you are able to change campus at any time or make up a class at another campus (dates permitted). You can choose from the following class options:

  • Weekend Format (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Weekday Format (Monday & Tuesday)
  • Weekday Format (1 day per week)

Private Health Fund Rebates

Private health fund rebates are rebates that a therapist may offer to their clients who are members of a particular private health insurance fund, if the therapist is registered as an ‘approved provider’ of that fund.

Private health fund rebates are generally not available to be offered by graduates of the HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. Graduates of the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage may become approved providers if they meet the requirements of the private health insurers in that regard, as explained below.

Private health fund approved provider status is available to on-campus graduates of the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage, who study the practical components of subjects 1-16 on-campus. Most private health funds have stipulated that approved provider status is not available to correspondence students. Medibank Private requires on-campus study of the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage over a minimum of 12 months.
