Evolve College offers flexible massage courses in Perth. Study the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage course with Evolve College in Perth and experience a massage school with a focus on integrity and quality education. At Evolve we want to serve you the best way we can. We have dedicate student support staff, an experienced training team and a simple and practical learning experience all designed to prepare a graduate to be job-ready from day one. This course is designed to teach the knowledge and practical skills of massage so you can become a remedial massage therapist.

Course Delivery:

The Diploma of Remedial Massage has a blended delivery meaning there is both online and on-campus learning. The on-campus part of your course is delivered by attending 20 x 2-day on-campus class blocks. Under the Jobs and Skills WA funded program, you will also attend 20 x 2 hour online classes with your trainer. Theoretical learning is delivered online in our custom-designed and built Hub, meaning you can learn at your own pace and receive quality support from our expert training and administration teams. This unique delivery system means you can experience industry leading and highly reputable training from our team without the strain of weekly in-person classes.

You can choose from the following on-campus class options:

Weekend Format (Saturday & Sunday classes - 8:45am - 5:30pm)
Weekday Format (Monday & Tuesday classes - 8:45am - 5:30pm)

Qualification:

HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage.

This qualification is Nationally Recognised Training and qualifies you to be a Remedial Massage Therapist.

Evolve College is registered to deliver the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification. This qualification has been set by industry and endorsed by the government as the benchmark for entry into the remedial massage profession.

Graduates from our on-campus program who satisfy all relevant requirements will be eligible to apply for a provider number for Medibank Private (and other private health insurance funds which have set similar/the same educational criteria), allowing clients to receive rebates. About the Diploma of Remedial Massage:

The Evolve College teaching approach is designed to train therapists to understand the anatomical body to a depth whereby they can determine variations from normal health status. The focus is then placed on using a combination of specific musculoskeletal assessment techniques and specialist hand skills to apply a remedial treatment aimed at addressing the cause of the patient's health status.

We prefer to work on improving health and not just providing relief! Upon graduation, you will be eligible for affiliate membership with a professional massage association, and ready to start your career as a Remedial Massage Therapist!

Remedial massage is a practice that uses massage as a form of applied remedy to musculoskeletal ailments. In the Diploma of Remedial Massage Course you will learn skills such as:

WA Government Jobs and Skills Lower Fees, Local Skills Program

The Department of Training and Workplace Development have reduced the massage course fee cost through their WA Jobs and Skills program.

Eligible Western Australian residents may enrol into the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage course through the Lower Fees, Local Skills program. This program is run through the Western Australia Government. Evolve College is approved to offer funding available under the Priority Industry Training Program to existing workers residing in Western Australia.

Eligibility criteria for Government funding:

To be eligible for WA Government funding for this course, you must:

Reside in Western Australia; and
Be an existing worker (work 20 or more hours per week): and
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia; or
An eligible visa holder, as outlined below.

Eligible visas include the following subclasses:

Holders of a sub-class 309, 444, 785, 790 or 820 visa;
Secondary holders of a temporary visa of sub-class 457 or 482 visa;
Holders of a Bridging Visa E (sub-classes 050 and 051) where the visa holder has made a valid application for a visa of sub-class 785 or 790;
Ukraine citizens who are holders of a visa sub-class 449 or 786;
Afghan citizens who are holders of a visa sub-class 449; and
Holders of a bridging visa who are eligible to work and who have made a valid application for a subclass 866.

Eligibility for concession fee:

Provided you meet the Jobs and Skills eligibility criteria listed above, the following categories are eligible to enrol at the concession rate of $400 per calendar year:

Persons aged between 15 – 24 who are not enrolled at school*.
Persons and dependants of persons holding:
- a Pensioner Concession Card;
- a Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs; or
- a Health Care Card.
Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of services from the following Commonwealth support or employment services programs:
- Workforce Australia; or
- ParentsNext.**
Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY.
Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of the Youth Allowance.
Persons and dependants of persons who are inmates of a custodial institution.
Secondary school-aged persons, not enrolled at school.

*You do not need a valid concession card if you are aged between 15-24 and are not enrolled at school. Your course fee will be capped at the annual course fee cap for concession students.

I've had mamy massages here from the time the clinic first opened and my massage with Brie was excellent. She did a thorough pre-massage assessment and approached my massage fully knowing my needs and therefore gave me a wonderful massage that relaxed and soothed my entire body,. My first time ever to have a massage and I must say it was an awesome experience, Charlotte made me feel very comfortable and the massage was very relaxing and beneficial I train 6 days a week in the gym and noticed how much my range of movement was the next day when training. 10 out of 10 I will be definitely having more in the future.

Belinda's massage was excellent. Belinda demonstrated her ability by explaining the benefits of the excersizes in addition to the massage. Where she may improve is finding trigger points. I sometimes had to help her or adjust her position slightly. Overall Belinda acted professionally and demonstrated a very high level of knowledge.
