Body Freedom Urban Spa and Clinic is a unique Melbourne Day Spa nestled in the heart of South Melbourne VIC. We are a full-service Day Spa & Clinic offering a wide range of massage & pregnancy therapies, spa treatments & clinical skin treatments. We tailor every spa treatment to fit the needs of our clients. It’s our specialised treatments that draw returning serenity-seekers to our tranquil space. We proudly combine the best therapeutic treatments in a luxurious spa environment. 

About the Role:-

• Flexible hours and flexible employment arrangement
• Casual rate of pay (employee): starting from $37+ per hour (negotiable dependent on skills & experience). Or choose to work as a contractor
• Starting from a minimum of $64+ per hour (dependent on experience) depending on treatment. 
• Location: South Melbourne VIC (plenty of nearby parking available & lots of public transport)

Responsibilities:-

• Perform remedial, spa & pregnancy massage treatments tailored to meet each client's specific needs and preferences
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify muscular imbalances, injuries, and areas of concern
• Utilise a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release
• Perform other spa services, such as body scrubs, facials & packages – full training will be provided
• Provide expert advice on self-care, exercise and stretching techniques to support clients’ overall wellbeing
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records and treatment notes
• Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless health care experience

Qualifications:-

• Must hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage, or Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy (patients must be able to claim on their private health insurance when attending your services). OR working towards your qualifications
• Must have active Professional Indemnity, Public & Product Liability Insurance for contractors
• Must have active Massage Association membership & provider number
• Must hold a Current First Aid & CPR certificate
• New graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported by senior clinical staff
