** Position Overview ** 

We seek a motivated individual to join our team as a Remedial Massage Therapy Shadowing Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced remedial massage therapists across multiple locations in Perth. 

The successful candidate will have the chance to gain practical experience in various techniques, including deep tissue massage, cupping, stretching, postural assessments, dry needling, and more. 

** Responsibilities **

• Shadow experienced remedial massage therapists to observe and learn various techniques during client sessions
• Assist therapists with the preparation of treatment rooms and equipment
• Learn and practice proper client interaction and communication skills
• Participate in postural assessments under the guidance of senior therapists
• Gain hands-on experience in deep tissue massage, cupping, stretching, and dry needling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and common areas
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and client follow-ups. 

** Requirements ** 

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant course of study in massage therapy or a related field
• Strong interest in remedial massage therapy and eagerness to learn new techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts and locations
• Reliable transportation to travel between different placement sites
• Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology preferred
