Massage Therapist Opportunity

Pumphouse Point | Lake St Clair, Tasmania

Pumphouse Point is one of Australia’s most unique hotels, located on Lake St Clair in the heart of Tasmania’s wilderness.

Situated within the national park, Pumphouse Point is surrounded by beautiful walking trails and outdoor activities. Our massage team provides nurturing and restorative treatments designed to enhance each guest’s experience.

We are a small team of dedicated therapists working onsite and offering:

• Relaxation massage
• Remedial massage
• Pregnancy massage
• Hot stone massage

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Level 2 First Aid certification
• Your own ABN
• Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
• A proven ability to create a warm and nurturing experience for guests
• A positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent service
• The ability to commit to approximately one shift per month, consisting of three to five days, for at least 12 months

Qualified Remedial Massage Therapists are preferred. However, candidates currently completing their Diploma of Remedial Massage may also be considered.

Experience in hot stone massage is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.

Shift Options

On average, therapists will complete one shift per month.

• Weekday shift: Monday at 2.00 pm to Friday at 12.30 pm
• Weekend winter shift: Friday at 2.00 pm to Sunday at 3.30 pm
• Weekend summer shift: Friday at 2.00 pm to Sunday at 4.45 pm

As we are a small team and the role requires consistency for our guests, applicants must be able to commit for at least 12 months.

Payment and Expenses

• A retainer is provided, with above-award wage rates
• Accommodation is provided
• Therapists are required to bring their own massage oil
• A towel fee applies
