A holistic retreat in Margate, Tasmania, is seeking a passionate and motivated therapist to join its team. The retreat is dedicated to providing a space for deep healing, relaxation and mind-body harmony through a holistic approach to wellness.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for others, is passionate about holistic therapies and is eager to learn new treatment techniques.

The role combines delivering wellness treatments with supporting the day-to-day operations of the retreat, creating a varied and rewarding working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver spa and wellness treatments to retreat guests.
• Learn and perform additional treatments, including facials, hot stone massage and sound healing.
• Provide a welcoming, caring and relaxing experience for guests.
• Support daily retreat operations, including customer care, cleaning and kitchen assistance as required.
• Work collaboratively as part of a holistic wellness team.
• Contribute to maintaining a calm, clean and supportive retreat environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Minimum of five years' practical experience as a spa therapist; or
• Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Additional requirements and desirable attributes include:

• A genuine passion for holistic wellness and caring for people.
• Motivation and willingness to learn the retreat's unique treatment techniques.
• Flexibility to assist with a range of day-to-day retreat duties.
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience or a background in yoga and/or meditation is preferred.
