About the Role

PrimeBody Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join its supportive allied health team. This opportunity is suited to a practitioner who is passionate about evidence-based care, building strong therapeutic relationships and helping clients achieve meaningful, long-term health outcomes.

The successful applicant will provide remedial and therapeutic massage treatments to a diverse client base, including people experiencing sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, muscular tension and recovery needs. Experience working with the ageing population is essential.

Working alongside physiotherapists and administrative staff, you will contribute to an integrated approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess client presentations and plan appropriate treatment approaches.
• Deliver remedial and therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual needs.
• Treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, muscular tension and recovery-related concerns.
• Work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including the ageing population.
• Maintain clear communication and build positive therapeutic relationships.
• Accurately document treatment notes and relevant client information.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists and administrative staff to support integrated patient care.
• Educate clients on self-management strategies to support ongoing recovery and wellbeing.
• Deliver professional, respectful and client-centred hands-on treatments.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, professionalism and clinical practice.
• Participate in case discussions, mentoring and collaborative learning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant remedial massage qualification or certification.
• Membership with a relevant professional association.
• Minimum of three years' experience working with acute and chronic pain and the ageing population.
• Strong practical skills across a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in specialised massage modalities and the ability to tailor techniques to individual client needs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Current first aid certification.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high professional standards.
• Openness to feedback, collaboration and ongoing learning.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance.
• Experience in a clinical or allied health environment is advantageous.
