The Role We are seeking a passionate and committed Remedial Massage Therapist to join our thriving clinic on a part-time basis. Excellent working conditions and a busy list are guaranteed for the right candidate whilst being supported by other experienced physios and massage therapists. This role involves an expected contribution of 23-27 hrs per week with the work spread across Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings. We offer a flexible work environment with opportunities to grow your existing client base and work with sports teams as well as athletes that are part of the Flex community.
Your key duties will include but not be limited to:-
- Managing and building on an existing caseload
- Providing high-quality remedial massage therapy to clients, tailored to their individual needs and preferences
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' areas of concern and developing personalised treatment plans
- Utilising a variety of massage techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, reduce pain, and improve mobility
- Educating clients on self-care practices and techniques to maintain the benefits of massage therapy
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a private practice setting
What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:-
- A Diploma of Remedial Massage (essential)
- A Professional Association membership
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach
- The ability to provide outstanding massage therapy to our clientele base, including relaxation, sports, and remedial massages
- A commitment to improving their knowledge and clinical skills
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with:-
- Engaging with clients to discuss symptoms, medical history, and desired outcomes.
- Assessing clients to identify areas of discomfort or tension in the body.
- Performing Soft Tissue Techniques
- Working with our multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable client experiences
