We are looking for a new Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team at Hunter Back Care, located in Carey Bay on the beautiful Lake Macquarie (30 minutes from Newcastle). 

Our treatment services include Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapy alongside Chiropractic care. Our practice has been in the area for almost 20 years, and has built a great reputation within the local community. Our previous Remedial Massage therapist has sadly had to cease practicing for medical reasons hence we’re looking for the next addition to the team! 

Our Principal Chiropractor has a strong evidence based approach to care and is looking for a Remedial Massage Therapist to work alongside in a collaborative environment, with the opportunity for regular cross referrals between practitioners. Experience in a multidisciplinary setting will be highly desirable. We have high word of mouth referrals from our existing patients and several local GPs, as well as a large existing patient base from our previous remedial massage therapist, making this a great opportunity for a new graduate to hit the ground running or an experienced practitioner looking to build within an existing practice! 

We have an excellent CA/Reception team who will help support you as you transition into the team. Our receptionists have an outstanding rapport with our patients creating a great sense of community, as well as training in practice management software and HICAPS for on the spot health fund claims. With two treatment rooms, there is the opportunity to work alongside our principal chiropractor in a fun and vibrant setting. 

We are seeking a Remedial Massage Therapist who can commit to a long-term position, starting as part time or full time depending on what you want. A minimum of 2 full days or 4 shifts is required. Flexible terms of employment and support will be offered to the right applicant, with remuneration at above industry standards. Minimum Qualifications/Documentation: 

• Diploma of Remedial Massage Health fund provider number Professional indemnity and liability insurance
