The mission of community centres in SA is "to enrich the lives of people in our community". At this conference, titled Partnering with Purpose, many of the 100+ community centres are thinking about how to expand their range of services in the future, for example, into health and fitness programs and services, by offering affordable premises. As a way to showcase some of the options and start to build connections, we are looking for volunteer massage therapist students to give short seated neck and shoulder, or hand and arm massages to delegates during the breaks and during conference sessions. For students who are looking to start their own business and sub-contract, we are happy to connect students with local community centre contacts to discuss future opportunities.
