Lachlan is one of our recent graduates, completing his HLT52015 Diploma in Remedial Massage in May 2017

"At Evolve the company regards their training extremely highly, that comes across with the content and the trainers and assessors themselves."

What inspired you to study massage?

Growing up in many sporting disciplines through my teens I very quickly came to realise just how important the art of massage was, specifically Remedial and Sports massage. I had great therapists near me growing up who inspired me to get into the career and help as many people as possible in the most effective ways.

How did you find studying with Evolve?

The support and teaching at Evolve was 2nd to none! The teachers are always so helpful and with the ease of online learning it made it possible for me to become fully qualified while still working. At Evolve the company regards their training extremely highly, that comes across with the content and the trainers and assessors themselves.

What is most notable or rewarding about my practice of massage?

Every day you are faced with new clients with new conditions. You are always learning in this career and I love that! I see 30-40 clients per week currently and looking to now expand further. In this career you can align yourself with other health professionals to bounce feedback off one another and work together to help specific clients which is also great fun. In this career you can go down so many avenues you never thought were possible, the possibilities are endless, believe me!

    Any tips for students?

Learn off your teachers as much as possible, ask them questions and pay close attention to their answers. If you have a local therapist that you admire, a mentorship is a great way to learn even more, experience is key to learning! At the end of the day, if you love what you do and you put in the work, you will succeed
