A Brand-New Day
Just as the sunrise offers an expanse of new light across the horizon, so too does each new day offer us a new beginning.
Whatever happened the day before, today is always an opportunity to do it differently.
Taking responsibility for whatever it is we haven’t liked that we have done or face in life, i.e. being willing to see our part in it, enables us an opportunity to grow and to see things differently.
Likewise, taking the time to appreciate the things we have chosen which have supported us and others, helps us to consolidate and build.
Realising that we are responsible for our choices brings an accountability but also a huge amount of potential. For if we take that responsibility seriously and act from it, then what can result from that is actually as expansive and truly bright as the new sunrise across the horizon.
What if we started each day realising that? It would certainly change things, wouldn’t it…
