Hiring Remedial Massage Therapist in New Multimodality Practice

We are currently seeking motivated and patient-centered massage therapists to join our unique team of allied health professionals who have a genuine desire to help all our patients achieve their health goals. This position requires a suitably qualified and experienced remedial massage therapist with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and work ethic. You should be committed to delivering excellence in patient care, with exemplary hands on skills and bedside manner. The successful applicant will be committed to ongoing learning, personal and professional development. Our clinic offers individual, private treatment rooms with full time administration and reception staff. We have a state of the art rehab facility adjacent to the treatment rooms including squat racks, barbells, dumbbells, cable machine and much more. We also offer a unique point of difference with other high tech treatment options including shockwave therapy, laser therapy, state of the art therapeutic ice bath and infrared sauna, all on site. You will have access to a new, fully equipped treatment room which includes an Australian made massage treatment table with electric height adjustment and plenty of natural light, massage towels, built-in desk with stone benchtop, iMac desktop with Cliniko software access (for appointments including online bookings and taking treatment notes), handwash basin. We also provide a branded shirt to be worn while on site. We are looking for a remedial massage therapist who is able to work autonomously, but still have the opportunity to discuss and co-manage cases with our other health professionals including experienced physiotherapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist and clinical nutritionist already on the team. You will be joining a thriving team of exceptional practitioners who have a genuine desire to help achieve each patient’s health goal. The role is offered with flexible hours part-time or full-time to support a healthy work/life balance. Currently, we are seeking multiple therapists with the option to set their desired days and times.

RESPONSIBILTIES/DUTIES: 

• You are responsible for providing a consistent and exceptional level of customer service for the entire appointment, from arrival to departure. 
• During the course of the treatment you will be mindful of the patients requests and needs, tailoring a customised treatment. 
• You will also take care of their comfort and warmth. 
• Proper, tidy draping at all times is essential. Y
• ou are responsible for building great rapport with clients ensuring that you are building a repeating clientele based on great service. 
• Administrative, general office duties, laundry and cleaning are all part of our team working cohesively together to create a harmonious and successful working environment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning, self-improvement and continuing professional development. 
• Skilled in various massage techniques desirable, including pregnancy and deep tissue massage. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Diploma in Remedial Massage 
• Current First Aid/CPR certificate 
• Professional indemnity, medical malpractice and public liability insurance 
• Member of a relevant association 
• A genuine passion in providing a one of a kind rejuvenating experience for each patient 
• Excellent hands-on skills, patient care, well-mannered and friendly 
• A team player 
• Well organized with good time management skills 
• Basic content creation for social media purposes is desirable
