Our Correspondence training enables you to study at your own pace and in your own time. Should you be studying a massage course and wish to apply for private health fund provider status you will need to complete your training on-campus, at your nearest Training Centre location. For further details see our general FAQs page, or read more on our private health funds pages.
Why study by correspondence?
Many students prefer to study the required skills and knowledge in their own time using our comprehensive audio-visual package. Other reasons students may choose correspondence study may include geography (e.g. living in a remote area), health issues or family or work commitments. Evolve College greatly values correspondence study because we know how important it is to students Australia-wide. On top of that, we are education experts and we specialise in quality training. We care about your education, your development and your success. We believe that everyone should be able to study massage, counselling, aged care and childcare, regardless of their individual circumstances.
Evolve College has provided easy, flexible payment options, so it's affordable for you to get started straight away.
We are dedicated to your development and success and our professional administration team is only a phone call away. Visit our FAQs page for more information, or call us to discuss your options on 1300 880 885.
Evolve College correspondence students have access to outstanding support. Support is available educationally, for any curriculum, practical or clinical technique questions, and in relation to any assessments. Correspondence students may speak with our Student Services Team with educational questions. Correspondence students may also contact our Administration Team with any questions in relation to practical assessment locations, timetables, progress requirements, changing classes (for practical assessment), any difficulties they are having, e.g. if they would like to defer, or any other general enquiry in relation to their study.
Students can contact the College by email, telephone, or mail. Our Student Services and Administration centre is open Monday to Friday, AEST/AEDT, 9am to 5pm and we welcome hearing from you.
Each subject contains a comprehensive study pack incorporating everything to facilitate successful, independent, self-paced learning. Learning resources include detailed online subject modules and audio-visual content.
Home Study subjects requiring practical study involve you completing a range of practical assessments including clinical demonstrations and performance, log book clinic hours, voluntary community hours and professional massage treatments. In addition, when you are ready, after taking advantage of our comprehensive audio-visual learning materials, which you can use to practise as much as you like, you attend clinic and practical assessment on-campus.
To study by correspondence, you need to have a computer and internet connection to complete your course. Some courses may require video submissions. Instead of making you film your own and go through the troubles of uploading, we have developed a innovative system, a virtual platform that enables you to simply click a button and start your video recording. This enables you to easily complete your study from your own environment. A minimum upload speed of 0.6 Mbps is required to participate in the Virtual Clinic.
